Save the date for ITBA’s Breeding Preparation Seminar on Tuesday 4th February 2025.

The exciting panel will be hosted by Cathal Beale (Irish National Stud) and will include industry experts Bena Hickey (Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital), Des Leadon (Irish Equine Centre, Swordlestown Little),  Olive O’Connor (Olive O’Connor Bloodstock) and Micheal Orlandi (Compas Stallions).

The panel will discuss all things breeding and help you prepare for the foaling season!

• Preparation for foaling and newborn care
• Working with your vet and managing complications
• Specifics of running a small breeding operation
• Getting your mare back in foal
• Planning your matings and pedigree compatibility

The event will take place on the eve of the Goffs February Sale, on Tuesday 4th February following inspections. Refreshments will be available from 5pm and the event will commence from 5:30pm. The event is free to attend and all are welcome. Registration is essential, click here to register.
