Peter O'Reilly
Peter O’Reilly is a small breeder and has been a member of the ITBA for a number of years. He currently sits on the board of the AIRO and comes from a family that are steeped in the bloodstock industry.
Peter has had a long career in the financial services industry, before establishing his own successful business. In addition to his excellent knowledge of the industry, Peter brings a business acumen that will be very valuable to the ITBA.
MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR
Danielle Deveney
With a rich background in the horse racing and equine industry, Danielle brings years of experience and insight to her current role as Membership Coordinator with the ITBA. Having previously worked for many years as a Bloodstock Executive at Goffs, she gained a deep knowledge of the sales and bloodstock industry. Her resume also includes roles with Connolly’s Red Mills, TRI Equestrian/Equine Veterinary Supplies and Equilume.
In addition to her role with ITBA, she is an active National Hunt breeder and runs Treehouse Stables with her partner, breeding & buying young stock and training point-to-pointers, highlighting her ongoing dedication to the hands-on aspects of horse care, racing and breeding.
EDUCATION COORDINATOR
Hannah Marks
Hannah’s journey in the equine industry is marked by a solid academic foundation and extensive international experience. After studying Equine Science at University College Dublin (UCD), she built her career across multiple roles and organizations.
Her early work with Shadwell Stud took her to key racing hubs in the USA, Ireland, and the UK, providing her with a global perspective on breeding and racing practices. She further honed her skills and knowledge by completing the prestigious Godolphin Flying Start program, an elite management and leadership course in the thoroughbred industry.
Following this, Hannah took on roles with Goffs and Equilume. These positions allowed her develop a solid understanding of the Irish market.
